Supervisors and leads have a profound effect on employee motivation, job satisfaction, and performance. This interactive, fast-paced program covers the basic skills necessary to set new supervisors up for success as it develops supervisors who can best support, coach and grow employees.

Topics included are:

- What makes a good leader and coach?
- Setting clear expectations and providing on-going feedback
- How to have the difficult conversations about performance
- Best practices for giving positive feedback
- Strengthening communication and listening skills
- The role of a manager, managing people who were peers, and understanding the difference between being a buddy and a supervisor
- Presenting ideas so they are heard and acted upon
